What's Going On
What's going on at The Need For Speed Garage?

Every week brings new challenges, problems and solutions.   Here are a few of the vehicles we worked on last week. From a Mercedes Benz  to a Smart Car...you just never know what you'll find getting serviced at The Need For Speed. From NH State Inspections to no start issues, the one thing here that is constant...it is NEVER boring. Follow us as we showcase some of works in progress.
The Mercedes

This Mercedes Benz would start and run, then die after the engine warmed up. The check engine light was not on...so after diagnostic tests were performed, it was found to have a communication code error, further testing showed a deffective crank sensor.  After replacing the sensor, the vehicle tested and ran great.

The Jeep

This Jeep had an intermittant no-start issue with no fault codes in the computer. Testing determined that the neutral safety switch was faulty.

The Smart Car

A 30,000 mile service and back on the road for this Smart Car!

Yes, the motor is in the rear.

BMW #1

A NH State Inspection and on your way!

BMW #2

A NH State Inspection can reveal potentially dangerous problems with a vehicle. The tires were worn to the point of steel showing and the axle boot was torn, causing the grease for the axle to leak from the boot.

The Dodge Caravan

New front brakes and this caravan can stop on a dime.

The Range Rover

A Range Rover with a coolant leak and a noise in the motor.  It was found that the upper intake gasket on the left side was leaking coolant. After receiving an estimate, the customer knew exactly what would be needed to repair this vehicle.
